Boston Cream Pie Wolf'em

Looking for a simple fancy treat?  Try Boston Cream Pie Wolf'ems!

Cream Filling:

2 egg yolks

2 cups milk

1/3 cup sugar

2 TB cornstarch

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 tsp vanilla

In medium saucepan, beat egg yolks and stir in milk.  Add sugar, cornstarch and salt.  Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture reaches low boil.  Allow to boil, still stirring for 1 minute.  Remove from heat and add vanilla.  Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Chocolate Ganache Topping

1/2 cup chocolate chips

1 TB butter

1 TB milk

In small bowl add chocolate chips and butter.  Microwave for on high for 1 minute.  Stir.  Repeat until chocolate is melted.  Add milk and stir until smooth.


Cook Wolf'em cups.  Fill with Cream Filling and top with Chocolate Ganache and ENJOY!
