Top 8 Camping Recipes by Wolf'em Stick

If you haven't heard of a Wolf'em Stick yet . . . now is the time to try one!  A Wolf'em Stick is outdoor cooking tool with a rotary handle that turns (literally!) your outdoor cooking into an experience.

Simply place a piece of biscuit dough on the wooden cooking form, cook the dough for a couple of minutes until it is golden brown and then fill the biscuit cup with your favorite filling or try one of our TOP 8 RECIPES.  #5 is my favorite!

Bake'em . . . Fill'em . . . Wolf'em is not just our slogan - it is an experience!

1. Orange and Honey Cream Wolf'em

  • ½ cup diced strawberries
  • 1 diced mango
  • 1 diced kiwi
  • 1/8 cup fat free sour cream or plain yogurt
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • Cinnamon and sugar (optional)
    How it’s done:

Combine sour cream, honey and orange zest in a bowl and set aside. In a separate bowl, combine strawberries, mango and kiwi. Place about 2 tbsp of the fruit mixture inside of each Wolf’em cup/bowls and drizzle with the sweet sour cream mixture. Garnish with cinnamon and sugar if desired. “Wolf’em” down and enjoy!

    2. Cheese and Bacon Wrapped Meatball Wolf'em

    • 4 jalapeno peppers
    • 4 oz cream cheese, room temperature
    • 10 meatballs, thawed
    • 10 bacon strips
    • 4 slices of cheddar cheese  (or your favorite)
    • Cilantro
    • Lettuce
    • Tomato
      How it’s done:
Grill jalapenos over high heat for 6-8 minutes and place in a plastic sandwich bag for 20 minutes once they cool slightly. After 20 minutes, remove the skins and seeds from the jalapenos, dice finely and set aside. Place softened cream cheese into a mixing bowl and add diced jalapenos – gently fold to combine and set mixture aside. Wrap each meatball with one slice of bacon and insert a toothpick to keep it in place, then place each wrapped meatball in the microwave for 1-2 minutes until the bacon is cooked. Spread the cream cheese mixture into each Wolf’em cup, then line the sides of the Wolf’em with cheddar cheese. Place a bacon wrapped meatball in the center of the Wolf’em cup (it will be surrounded by the cheddar cheese) and garnish with lettuce, tomato and cilantro – yum!
